CM THESIS
Primality n. relating to an early stage of human development; basic; visceral Primality aims at capturing the rawness of nature and incorporating it into architecture, rather than recreating the primitive huts used by our ancestors. This can range from a basic color palette to invoke primal urges, such as proximity to danger and sexuality. These can be achieved through the presence of water, heights, internal perches, sensual forms, etc. Note the "difficult path" of the ladder and the hanging rope, versus the "easy path" of climbing the slope in order to reach the path above. The Serengeti is an obvious match-up for primality. With low mountains bordering sweeping grasslands, it's a beautiful place where nature takes its course. Wild animals and the lack of immediate civilization both offer essential qualities for a building of primality.
